Special Board of Directors Meeting
Due to the recent resignations, a special Board of Directors Meeting was held on Sunday, July 19th. The meeting was also streamed live on Facebook to the SCMC Members only page. A letter summarizing the meeting with a special invite to the August 11th Club meeting has been mail to each member.
Monthly Club Meetings
Save the dates to your personal calendar … the SCMC meets on the second Tuesday of each month for Club updates and to socialize. The location may vary from month-to-month, so check back often or follow the SCMC Member’s Page on Facebook. Email notifications are sent prior to each meeting, as well.
August 11th – 7 PM – Next SCMC meeting is at the Viera East Golf Course Community Center, 1964 Golf Vista Blvd, Rockledge, FL. Please plan on attending; the future of the SCMC will be discussed at length.
Cruise-Ins and Other Local Club Events
August 2 – 8:00-11:00 AM, Back To School Supplies Drive and Car Show – Ford’s Garage, 5480 Lake Andrew Dr, Melbourne, FL.
It is my sincere hope that you will consider joining your Club members in supporting the “Back to School” supplies drive at the Ford’s Garage in Viera on Sunday, August 2nd, from 8-11 AM (flyer is attached). The school supplies will be going to the Brevard County Schools Foundation for distribution. In addition, the Ford’s Garage will be giving a goody bag to the first 100 guests that dine in after the car show.
And, per the past few car shows, Ford’s Garage will be allocating one row (closest to CVS) as a Mustang Corral. Note, ANYONE with a Mustang can park in that row – bring a friend with their Mustang and meet some of the other Club members, as well.
